Trunk Floor

This page was last updated on 8/8/01

Pics of the trunk floor; late July 2000.
The rear of the car is about as done as it's going to get until it comes back from the body shop with a fresh paint job. I still need to bead-roll the floor pans, and maybe polish the tubs a bit. And the wiring is just laying in there for now. I'll tidy that up later, and add the wiring for the fuel sending unit. Oh yea, looks like I still need to add the vent for the fuel cell.

I've not yet decided exactly how I'll run the battery wires, but that can wait til after the body shop.

If you look real close, you can see the custom trunk lid hinge mount in the pic on the upper right. The hinge is near the upper left of that pic. We’ve since discovered that the rear filler panel flexes too much, so we’ll have to attach the strut to something else (TBD).

The panel at the rear of the trunk is custom made by yours truly, as are the aluminum floor pans.
