Written by the previous owner, Jim Ford:
I've owned the car since september of 1990 and started redoing the car the way you see it today in 1996. Bill Carter at Automotion Race Cars, Indianapolis, IN, did the back half on the car. It has a10 point mild steel roll cage, Top Gun 4-link from Chassis Engineering, a Dana 60 rear end with 35 spline Moser axles and 5/8” wheel studs, Strange spool with a 4.10 Richmond pro gear and a TA rear end cover. It also has Alden single adjustable shocks on the rear and Competition Engineering on the front with Moroso front springs. For brakes it has Wilwood disk brakes at all corners. The wheels are Center line Warriors,15x4 front and 15x10 rear, with 27.5x4.5 Mickey Thompson front tires and 31x10.5 W Mickey Thompson slicks on the rear.

The car has went 9.71@ 137mph on the motor (without nitrous). We haven't made any good nitrous runs yet but we'll see what happens this year. Oh, the car will have a powerglide this year with billet planetaries and a pro trans brake, it has a 9in. steel stator convertor from Coan.

The car was painted by a friend of mine who used to own the car, Mike Wilson. He did a great job on the car. The car has new quarter panels, one new GM front fender, all the chrome and stainless are new along with a new grill and all new weather stripping. The car will have a 6”pin on cowl hood this year also.

The interior has new carpet, door panel, plastic racing seats, Lecarra sterring wheel, and all Autometer ultra light gauges.

A special thanks to Tommy Miller who drives the car and helps work on it.
